UAE Corporate Tax Filing Deadline 2026: What Every Business Must Know

Understanding your Corporate Tax filing deadline is essential to avoid FTA penalties. In the UAE, the deadline is strictly linked to your financial year-end.

When is the Corporate Tax Filing Deadline?

The standard rule is that you have 9 months from the end of your relevant financial year to file your Corporate Tax return and settle any payable tax.

  • If your financial year ends on December 31, your filing deadline is September 30 of the following year.
  • If your financial year ends on March 31, your filing deadline is December 31 of the same year.

What Happens if I File Late?

Failing to submit your Corporate Tax return by the deadline will trigger severe administrative penalties from the Federal Tax Authority (FTA). These penalties start at AED 500 per month for the first 12 months, and increase thereafter, alongside a percentage-based late payment penalty on the outstanding tax amount.

Ensure you prepare your audited financials well in advance. Curatax LLC can manage your entire filing timeline.
